General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

A cough is so hard causing an increased abdominal pressure that gives rectal pain.

Of course, there is an issue there in the rectum that causes pain and it may be diverticulitis. You should also cure a cough with antibiotics and expectorants.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka , General & Family Physician
